This is a photo of Hwy 142 (courtesy of MoDot). showing some of the devastation linemen were dealing with during the flooding rains over the weekend. At one point more than 1,000 members were without power due to lightning, trees/limbs down and flood waters covering roadways and access to lines. There were approximately 7 poles that had to be replaced due to being washed out or broken from the winds and many spans of wire down as well. Crews worked all weekend and into the beginning of the week, restoring power to all members by Tuesday afternoon. Thank you for your patience as we worked to get power back to all our members.
