HOEC and assisting crews (see photos below) from Co-Mo, Grundy, Osage Valley, United, West Central and White River Valley Electric Cooperatives, as well as KIOWA and Arkansas Electric contractors, worked from sun up until well after sun down setting and framing poles, hanging wire and getting power restored. We started the day with 3,990 members still in the dark and now have just more than 1,900.
There is still some tedious work to be done, but our crews (we're calling them all ours now!) are up to the task. There are still multiple days without power for members but know we are working with the best crews assisting to get the job done. Always stay away from downed power lines and thank you for your support during this outage.
