Howell-Oregon Electric Cooperative lineman and crews will NEVER stop at your home and demand payment for labor, such as tree trimming or stump removal. When you do see our crews, they are dressed in HOEC labeled clothing and will be in HOEC trucks. If you ever receive a phone call or someone stopping to say they are with HOEC and demanding payment, call the office at 417-256-2131 or toll free 1-888-HOE-POWER and ask questions. You can also call 9-1-1 if you are concerned for your safety. If you do have this happen to you, report it to us so we are aware and can let others know to be wary and on the lookout.
