Due to the forecasted extreme temperatures, Howell-Oregon Electric Cooperative has issued a Peak Alert for Friday, February 4th, 2022, from 5:00 am to 9:00 am. During that time, HOEC is asking all members to alternate the use of major appliances, including washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens and stoves.
A Peak Alert does not mean that the supply of electricity is being depleted; it simply means that member demand for electricity is reaching an extremely high level.
Again, this Peak Alert period is for Friday, February 4th, 2022, from 5:00 am to 9:00 am. Remember, you can make a difference!
