Remembrance Day

National Pearl Harbor - Remembrance Day - Dec. 7, 1941, the Japanese military initiated a surprise attack on the United States Naval Base at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii. The attack resulted in the deaths of thousands of service members and civilians, over a thousand injuries, the sinking of American ships and destruction of aircraft.

Be Aware of Scams

Your electric cooperative will never call you to threaten immediate disconnection of service. Scammers usually call during extreme weather to intimidate people to pay on the spot. Contact your local electric cooperative directly with any questions about payment.

Planned Outage Friday: Thayer

HOEC will have a planned power outage in Thayer on Friday, December 8 beginning at 10 am (weather permitting). Approximately 70 members will be without power for 3 hours while HOEC makes needed pole changes. Those affected include members on W Adams Street, Church Street, Brewer Street, Polk Street and Tyler Street. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to improve our service for you, our members.
