HOEC Scholarship Winners

New this year at Howell-Oregon Electric Cooperative, Inc., was the addition of the HOEC scholarship program. We were very pleased to offer four $750 scholarships to area high schools this year.

High schools will be rotated every year and categorized by their region. The applications are sent to a third party judge to be reviewed and graded to ensure that any bias is eliminated, and that the most qualified candidates are the recipients. They were judged by a committee at the Association of Missouri Electric Cooperatives located in Jefferson City.

This year, scholarships were awarded to one graduating senior at Alton High School, Bakersfield High School, Eminence High School, and Willow Springs High School.

The recipients of this year’s scholarship are: Ambrosia VonAllmen of Alton High School, Maddie Simpson of Bakersfield High School, Danielle Counts of Eminence High School, and Alexus Fogarty of Willow Springs High School.
