HOEC employees donate to OMC Fun Run

The employees of Howell-Oregon Electric Cooperative have fielded a team of participants for the Ozarks Medical Center Fun Run, to be held Saturday, April 20, in West Plains. In addition to the registration fees for the event, the team raised an extra $120 to donate to the Fun Run, which benefits patients of the OMC Cancer Treatment Center.

The event kicks off at 9 a.m. Saturday and includes a 5K and a 1.5 mile walk/run. Races begin at the Shaw Medical Building, 1111 Kentucky Avenue, home to the OMC Cancer Treatment Center. Participants forming a team of five or more receive $5 off individual registrations and compete for the team spirit award. Awards will also be presented to the top 5K finishers. The 1.5 mile walk/run is a non-competitive event.
