Turning down your thermostat a degree or two could help you save on your electric bill by conserving energy. When the difference between outside and inside temperature is significant, like today through the weekend, your heating system runs more to maintain the warmth. That's why setting your thermostat at 68° during the winter is generally a good rule of thumb.
