Linemen from Howell-Oregon Electric Cooperative received the Mutual Assistance call last week from Pontotoc Electric Power Association in Mississippi.

Some members have reported they have not received their bill in the mail yet. Bills were mailed on January 27; however, due to the inclement weather event across the Midwest, delivery may be delayed.

When the difference between outside and inside temperature is significant, like today through the weekend, your heating system runs more to maintain the warmth. That's why setting your thermostat at 68° during the winter is generally a good rule of thumb.
