The HOEC business office will be CLOSED today, Monday, January 26, due to the poor road conditions and extreme cold weather for the safety of our employees.  If you need to report a power outage or pay your electric bill, you can use SmartHub through the link at the top of this website, or the SmartHub Mobile App. If you just need to report an outage you can also call 417-256-2131 and our Dispatchers will be available to dispatch crews as needed. The business office will open Tuesday morning at 8am as usual.

If you see a car accident, your first instinct may be to rush toward the vehicle to help, but this can get you hurt or killed. Keep your distance from the vehicle and all electrical equipment that has been damaged. Instruct those in the car to stay inside and wait for trained professionals.
