COVID-19 Coronavirus Response Plan from HOEC

2020 Annual Meeting Postponed

The 81st Annual Meeting of Membership that was originally scheduled for Friday, May 1st, 2020 has been postponed due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19). Per the CDC’s guidelines of no more than 50 people gathering, the West Plains Civic Center will not be able to host any event prior to May 15th.

Notice of Planned Outage Friday March 13

Beginning at 9:00 AM Friday, March 13th, our crews will be making a system improvement in Koshkonong near McClain Forest Products. This will require us to shut-off power to approximately 60 members in that area to allow our crews to safely make the improvement. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

HOEC members have a new way to view usage, pay bills, and manage HOEC accounts from iPhone or Android smartphones. Nearly all of the features of our website's SmartHub interface are now available in the FREE SmartHub app, using the same login email and password for fast, secure access. Users can select account notifications, and power outages may also be reported directly from the app.

Six Employees Reach Milestone with the Cooperative

Six employees at Howell-Oregon Electric Cooperative, Inc., are celebrating 25 years of dedicated service to our members. HOEC Lineman Completes Training Program

Ryan Daniel, 1st Class Lineman at HOEC, successfully completed the Merchant Job Training and Safety Program. This is one of the world's most comprehensive training programs for power line personnel. Ryan is shown in the picture receiving his certificate from Bennie Perkins, Manager of Operations. Congratulations, Ryan!
